| Group One | |
|---|---|
Cage: | Fop Siria and Fop Cleide Tower |
Occupants: | Thisbe, Sophie, Megan, Rosie, Mystique, Moonshine, Caliadne and Phoebe |
|
The four older girls and four new girls. Rosie has asserted herself and is now alpha, though Meg can be temperamental too. The atmosphere in this cage could be described as manic. Sophie is an old dear who struggles with the pace sometimes, but hates being housed away from the others. Thisbe presides over the cage from the vantage of the Sputnik at the top, keeping out of all of the tussles going on below. | |
| Group Two | |
Cage: | Marchioro Tom |
Occupants: | Darwin, Morse, Bramwell Brown and Barnaby. |
Darwin and Morse are beginning to slow down nowadays, so we've decided to add Bramwell Brown and Barnaby into the mix to keep them on their toes. They've moved in fairly smoothly, though Darwin still has some issues with them. | |
| Group Three | |
Cage: | Ferplast Furet Plus |
Occupants: | Babbage, Brunel and Otis |
Brunel used to be the top man, but I had him neutered for the sake of my fingers. I think Otis is now top rat, though he's still the most nervous of being handled by me. Babbage is a licky love monster. These three boys were all getting a little overweight, so I've put them on a slight diet. It seems to be working, but Otis is losing weight more slowly that the other two despite being the fattest. | |
| Group Four | |
Cage: | Unbranded bird cage |
Occupants: | Chester, Pickle, Araminta, Angelina and Isabella |
|
Chester and Pickle are a pair of neutered lads who have been joined by three little girls from Pet Rescue UK who just happened to be living in Rugby, so obviously belonged here. They have formed a really lovely, active group who are great fun to have around. | |
| Group Five | |
Cage: | Fop Cavia Hotel |
Occupants: | Bramble, Sparky, Diggory, Pringle, Chumble, Hodge, |
The young boys. Two just for pets and four towards my plan to breed next year. They live in the Cavia Hotel, which they make an incredible mess of. All very teenage at the moment. They're a wonderful, busy, bouncy, 'pounce on your hand' type group. | |
