Kitty's Babies, Day 51 (Sunday 14th September, 2008)

Well, today should have been the conclusion, with the girls going off to their new homes. It looks like we may have to wait a little longer though. Stupid car!

The good news is the the three boys, Sherbourne, Avon and Cole, are settled in with their two new uncles, so I now only have six groups to let out to play every evening. They were really good last night - my routine is to let each group out for half an hour, then put their food in the cage and call them back. Last night the three little boys came running back along with Otis and Brunel. I had to pick them up and put them back in the cage, but I'm impressed that they came back!

I'm debating whether to join the group of five girls (once the other four have finally gone to their new homes) up with my older group of six girls and give them the whole of an Explorer cage. Then I'd only have five groups. Hmmmm.

Update: Three-spot and No-spot have left for their new home - their new mum and dad came to collect them this afternoon. (I'm guessing they'll have better names than that soon.) We opened the cage doors and let all the little girls come out, but One-spot didn't want to come out and say hello, so she's the one who has stayed for now. There was me hoping they'd show how calm and tame they are, and there were the girls going totally manic. Bless 'em.
