Kitty's Babies, Day 26 (Wednesday 20th August, 2008)

Morning

Just one photo for you this morning. It was chaos opening the cage. The babies were trying to get out down the ladder and over the top of the cage, and Kitty was stomping across the other cages trying to bite noses, feet and anything else that anyrat was foolhardy enough to stick out. She even managed to get to the two other new kittens I have, and I thought that cage was safely barricaded off. I don't know what got into her, the silly boo! Maybe she's defending the babies against the world now they're leaving the cage?

Evening: In the garden

We got the rats' herb garden out today to keep the babies amused while I cleaned the cage. They had great fun! Even Glitter joined in. Kitty went off for some peace - she's getting to the stage where she's very tired of being followed around all the time and really doesn't want to be put back in the cage.
