Kitty's Babies, Day 25 (Tuesday 19th August, 2008)

Morning

I decided to weigh the babies this morning. What a performance! It took me so long to find the last agouti, plucking them at random from the cage. Maybe I should have moved them somewhere else? Doh!

We marked the agoutis' tails a couple of days ago, but there seemed to be two three-spots and a no-spot, and my four-spot and two-spot were missing. Someone's been washing the babies! Thankfully one of the three spots was male, which identified him as the previous four spot, so I decided no-spot must be two-spot. Are you keeping up?

So, here is one of the charts for which I am becoming reknowned; sigh. One of my agoutis is going to be a BIG boy.

Evening

I decided to let the babies go down the ladder to the table and see how they got on. It seems that it's a little scary actually leaving the ladder. Also when Mum and Granny are out and about they make scary noises too. I got a nice video of blue agouti girl and her two agouti brothers.
