Kitty's Babies, Day 20 (Thursday 14th August, 2008)

Here are some photos of the babies at breakfast time. They are using the whole of the cage now, right up to the ceiling.

I took a couple of videos just to show how much they're whizzing around the cage. Sorry about the wobbliness - Kitty and Glitter were climbing over me as I filmed.

Evening

Glitter was stopping the babies feeding again by returning them to the nest inside the igloo, so I took the igloo out. This caused Glitter to move all of the babies into one of the hammocks, but that works because there's room for both mum and granny along with all the babies so Kitty can feed again without having the babies yanked off her. Glitter is happiest at the bottom of a heap of babies. Kitty seems more than happy to leave them to it when she's not feeding.
