Health

19th January 2011 - Spayed with hope of stopping stressful seasons.
20th February 2011 - Spay was a total success. Hazel is back to her gentle and happy self.
9th April 2011 - Very flat, refusing food and water. Blood and pigment in urine. Amoxicare 2mls! Metacam 0.2ml, sub-q fluids. Continue with oral Clavaseptin and return tomorrow if no improvement.
9th April 2011, evening - Still very poorly, but drinking now.
10th April 2011 - More Amoxyllin. Metacam from my finger. Still not eating.
11th April 2011 - Still not eating. X-ray confirmed she doesn't have bladder stones or a tumour, so another Amoxicare jab and Metacam for today.
11th April 2011, evening - Ate some banana baby rice, and some of the hard mix. Moving around the cage more. :-D
26th June 2011 - Completely recovered some time ago, but still has lumps where the injections were given.
Monday 4th July 2011 - Vet visit. Keep an eye on the lumps - possibly micro abscesses in reaction to the injections.
Thursday 7th July 2011 - Blind in right eye. I'm positive it wasn't like that yesterday - it's transparent and slightly bluish. No sign of injury or swelling.
Sunday 10th July 2011 - Eye is very blue now.
Tuesday 12th July 2011 - Vet confirmed that it's a cataract.
Wednesday 28th March 2012 - Enormous neck abscess. Flushed and inj Convenia.

Temperament

Lovely most of the time. Occasional berserker when in season.
20th February 2011 - Calmed down nicely after spay.
5th May 2012 - Burst neck abscess which I hadn't even spotted. Put on Clavaseptin.
