About Bianca

Bianca came to Ratty Corner on the 26th of September 2010. She came with Hope and Dora from a group of 29 does who were living in a Habitrail Ovo Loft hamster cage. They were each named after motorway service stations before they were homed, with Bianca being named after Southwaite services. Bianca is friendly and happy to be handled.

Kidnapped

Very soft coat. Brought a gift of substrate out of the tank to present to the judge. Likes to play hide and seek in my coat. Quite a kissy girl. Likes to be stroked gently. Very sweet natured girl - inquisitive but calm with it. Reminds me of a fine china doll - in a good way! (SS)

Health

16th November 2010 - Slightly rattly. Started on Marbocyl.
23rd November 2010 - No change. Switched to Ronaxan.
27th November 2010 - Rattles gone.
8th January 2011 - Urine infection, in pain. Clavaseptin and Metacam.
9th February 2011 - Small lump on neck.
16th February 2011 - Neck lump shrinking. Looks like it may have been a bite.
Monday 15th August 2011 - Tight dry wheeze. Inj Convenia and daily Ronaxan.
Thursday 23rd February 2012 - Back on the meds. Really laboured breathing.
Wednesday 14th March 2012 - Breathing worse. Been on meds for three weeks, tried everything. Put to sleep.
