About Wandle

Wandle was born in my third Brandywine litter, and was one of seven littermates, four boys and three girls. She's a sweet little poppet who relaxes in your hand, but zips around when you put her down. Her colour has evening out as she's got older.

Wandle is named after the River Wandle. She and her siblings are named after rivers of London, to celebrate the fact that their mother Grace came from a rattery in London.

Good head and eye. Fair ear. Colour fairly even, slight dorsal stripe. Tail length OK. (LO)

Health

25th February 2010 - Torn ear.
10th January 2011 - Bleeding from vagina.
11th January 2011 - Clavaseptin and return to vet in 2 days if no better.
13th January 2011 - Still bleeding. Spay. Right horn of uterus found to be very swollen and full of blood / black fluid.
Monday 4th July 2011 - Cheek abscess. To be investigated/drained on Wednesday.
Wednesday 6th July 2011 - It was an inoperable tumour. I asked them not to wake her.

Temperament

Very similar to her mum, Grace. A lovely calm doe in your hand, but with plenty of spirit and cheek when facing the world.
