About Janhi

Janhi was born in my second Brandywine litter, and was one of fourteen littermates, eight boys and six girls. Janhi is a precious little lady who was meant to be pet homed, but I was so pleased when the reservation was cancelled and I could keep her. She has nice markings and an outgoing character.

Janhi and her siblings are named after rivers of Finland, in celebration of the Finnish ancestry of their sire, Barnaby. Janhi is named after the river Janhi.

MRC Online Show, 1st August 2009, Varieties - Best Head Spot - 3rd. "Nicely placed, slightly small spot if a little long. Could be more round."

MRC Cup Show, 3rd October 2009 - 3rd of 4 in Essex.
Fair head, ear and eye. Fair head spot. Graduation evident on sides. Fairly even on top. Tail length OK. (LO)

Health

20th April 2009 - Ivermectin for mites
1st May 2009 - repeat Ivermectin.
8th March 2010 - tiny lump under right arm.
22nd March 2010 - rediscovered the lump which I'd forgotten about. It's grown.
26th March 2010 - booked in for lump removal next Tuesday.
25th October 2010 - slight head tilt.
12th April 2011 - Still tilty. Slowing down.
17th May 2011 - Ivermectin for lice. Yucky.
26th May 2011 - Died gently at home, old age, ie no obvious cause.

Temperament

Janhi is a gentle little soul, affectionate and busy despite her continuing head tilt.
