About Aura

Aura was born in my second Brandywine litter, and was one of fourteen littermates, eight boys and six girls. She is a stunningly beautiful doe with a sweet and cheeky temperament. Perfection in a rat.

Aura and her siblings are named after rivers of Finland, in celebration of the Finnish ancestry of their sire, Barnaby. Aura is named after the Aurajoki.

MRC Cup Show, 3rd October 2009 - 2nd of 4 in Essex.
Fair head and ear, good eye. Colour a little patchy on top. Tail length OK. Nice graduation up side. Fair headspot. (LO)

23rd December 2010 - Mammary lump under arm.
13th January 2011 - Lump removal.
12th April 2011 - Mild HLD.
9th May 2011 - HLD worsening. Losing weight.
17th May 2011 - Severe uterine bleeding. Very poorly. PTS.
