Health: 8th July 2008 - yellow scab on back. Staph? Bathed with Hibiscrub.
15th July 2008 - It's now a clean bald patch. Continuing to bathe. Rose is now avoiding me!
18th July 2008 - The bald patch is growing. Vets next week.
21st July 2008 - Synulox 2.5mg x 2 daily.
29th July 2008 - Healing over nicely.
22nd April 2009 - Ivermectin for mites.
1st May 2009 - repeat Ivermectin.
1st September 2009 - Mammary lump under tail. :-/
25th September 2009 - Eating tissue bedding. Getting paranoid - Agnes and Edie both did that when they were developing pituitary tumours.
5th November 2009 - Losing weight. Lump is growing, but not very fast.
20th November 2009 - Incontinent of urine.
1st January 2010 - She's not going to go before the lump becomes a problem, so I need to see if the vets can remove it. I should have had it removed earlier but I didn't think she'd last long enough for it to be a problem.
Put to sleep as lump was actually several lumps and causing problems.

Temperament: Sweet, determined, licky.

About Princess Rose

Princess Rose was much loved by her previous mum, but came to live me in May 2008 when she was about one year old due to allergies in the family. She's a beautiful little agouti dumbo. Because we already have a Rosie in our rat family, Rose has been given an extra name and is now Princess Rose. She is enjoying exploring her new world and after a nervous start is getting used to her new cagemates. She's a lovely licky girl, and gets absolutely everywhere when she comes out to play. My only complaint is that she nips my ankle to tell me when to pick her up. It works.
