About Me

Humbug didn't like fingers in his cage, but once out he was a friendly little hammy who liked running up sleeves. We thought at first that he was a girl, but when Hocus had six babies we realised that we were wrong.

Humbug went to sleep one evening and didn't wake up again. We're not sure what was wrong with him.

We are very unimpressed with the pet shop, who not only sold us a mixed pair rather than single sex, but also sold them as Roborovski hamsters when they were in fact Cambell's. I can't help feeling that it was our own fault for using a pet shop and not looking for a breeder.
