I took Wolfie to be put to sleep this morning. We've been struggling to keep him eating and hydrated for the past 10 days or so, but he seemed to be getting more distressed as time went on and the weight was dropping off him. The vet suspects liver failure. (Post mortem has confirmed it.)
He was a handsome even-tempered boy from Julie Oliver, only 18 months old. He'll be sorely missed.
We also lost Sam the hamster, who reached the grand old age of 30 months
