Pirate's Problems (6th August)

Pirate's, who's around 2 yrs 4 months, has been suffering from a very red nose, sneezing red spots all over his bed. The vet wasn't sure if it was porphyrin or blood, so has been treating him with doxy as a first step. Now she can feel a mass in his stomach area, which is either the beginnings of a tumour or an enlarged kidney.

For the moment she's recommending 'wait and see', as he seems to be feeling well, is eating and drinking well, and is coming out for cuddles as usual. A blood test is an option, but it seems that taking blood is something of a palaver.

His back legs seem to be getting weaker - I've moved him into a low level cage because he in't using his shelf any more.

We've Discovered Ice Cube Bobbing (9th August)

Well, I ran out of peas...

They disappear when you stash them, though.

A New Game (18th August)

Paper diving!

Rat's Nest (20th August)

These girls are very good at nests
