Update (17th March)

It's been too long since I updated this. I've eased off on the intros for now, Pirate was getting stressed over it all. I'll try again in a month or two.

Gonzo has had a lump removed from under his front leg. I should find out what it was this week.

Feeling Smug (26th March)

I'm feeling really pleased with myself. We had three hamsters who never used their wheels, and three rat wheels that the ratties weren't interested in. So I tried giving the hammies the big wheels, and they love them! They've hardly stopped to sleep since they had them. I think the hamster wheels were just too small to be comfy.

It's quite funny, though, watching these tiny creatures in the enormous great rat wheels.

Worried about Quicky

Quicksilver has been on Baytril for nine days now, and he's still wheezing. He's still eating and drinking OK, but he looks sorry for himself and has porphyrin around his eyes. It looks like time for another trip to the vet.
