Small Cages

Savic Ruffy

This is an ideal hospital or baby cage. It's a cut down version of the Freddy 2, with the only drawback being a lack of a side door. The only door is in the top of the cage. The cage came with my agouti boy Dyson, and came with a bright yellow base.

The top of this cage will fit onto a Ferplast base.

Ferplast Mary

This is also an ideal hospital or baby cage. It has a large door in the top and a smaller one in the front. It is chromed, which may discolour in time. I bought this cage as a second for £18, as two corners of the base are damaged. I've covered these by supergluing some brass corner pieces onto the canopy.

The top of this cage is very slightly too big to fit onto a Savic base. The base is the same size as the Ferplast Jenny and the Furet Plus.

Savic Nero

This is a useful hospital cage for larger rats, or for use as an emergency cage. The base is the size same as the Freddy 2 and the Ruffy. This cage came along with my agouti boy Hoover, and originally had a red base on it.
